In situ installation and performance in progress HAUS#99 during art Basel 2016
Here is the foundation, at the very bottom, in the cellar. Through the well, we can sink even deeper. Ten meters down, there is water. Somebody digs to uncover it. Shards of glass are extracted from it. Bottles found whole are exposed as precious relics. The ground enters through windows and begins to bury the house. It is the beginning of the end. Inside the well, you believe you could die, every second, the ground could collapse, the water might gobble you up.
The house is condemned. I enrobe its walls. I am searching for the threatening thought of inert distress.
I give the house a last rite before its extinction.
